"After The Rain" is an 18x24" acrylic painting completed in 2022. The soft lavender brings to mind a flower that's been refreshed after a much-needed rain, and the sweet earthy scents that linger afterward in the dampened air. I have come to really love the rain, the calming sound of it, the lush colours and new life that it brings to flowers and plants.
